You can also right click again over the PS icon/file and 'Create a shortcut' to place a shortcut anywhere you'd like (such as on your desktop, or taskbar, or start menu (which sucks if you're using Windows 10 without tiles because you dislike tiles like I do).
It's completely logical if you give it some thought. I'm very stringent about safe files on my hard disk ergo I looked over key files via 7-zip, it's safe.:-) Just make sure you place the unzipped/extracted PS folder somewhere where you can easily find it (such as your desktop), then open up the folder to find the 'PS' icon (that is the executable 'Photoshop' file which 'activates' PS, but you have to right click the file and click 'Run as Administrator' - because PS doesn't technically 'install' on your computer hence the 'portable version' and why you need to set administrator permission to get it working.
